We cannot be perfect men, we should aspire to model ourselves after King David. King David by no means was perfect, but it is said in 1 Samuel 13:14 he is described as a man after God’s own heart. In today’s society men have become watered down and less of a defined presence. 1 Corinthians 16:13 (ESV) gives us specific instruction on how to conduct ourselves as men, “Be watchful, stand firm in faith, act like men, be strong.” Let us be strong mighty men of God.
